What are viruses?
Viruses are small files that attach to emails or downloads and infect your computer. They can be as harmless as displaying funny pictures on your monitor or they can go through your address book and send everyone within your address book the same virus. More dangerous versions can completely wipeout your computer and all your information and some can take over your machine and send spam from your computer. Without your knowledge, you can become a spammer.
What are adware and spywares?
Spyware and adware are small files that attached to almost anything that you may download and are designed to track where you go and what you view on the Internet … they then serve up popup advertisements. Some spyware and adware will even steal your personal information and credit card numbers. Advertisers, web designers, and even the governments are using the internet to spy on you. Downloaded software, Web bugs, and cookies target you while you're online, watching and recording your actions and turning that information over to eager advertisers. These Spy-Ware technologies gather personal information, such as your IP address and shopping habits, without your knowledge or consent.
The Shield Deluxe 2005™ protects you against both viruses, adware and spyware by providing ongoing support and updates. When a virus breaks out, The Shield Deluxe 2005™ will provide a patch within 2-3 hours and a fix for the virus within 5 hours. You can set you computer to update viruses weekly and run a complete virus scan. Virus protection is a must and no one with internet access should surf without it.

"I have used Norton and McAfee, but The Shield is so much simpler and takes so much less system resources to run"
Howard, Westland, MI
"I had an installation question. I called, a live person actually answered, and The Shield was running 2 minutes later"
Margo, Stamford, CT
Thank you for your quick and prompt response! I am glad to know I just invested my money into a company that cares! thanks again!
Keith in Davison, MI
"You are the best, I think my installation is complete and I could not of done it without you!! Thanks"
Debbie in Schaumburg, IL
"Thank you so much for your quick response. I was able to download the program. I'm very pleased with your product. Again, thank you very much for your quick response. "
Jeanie in Nacogdoches, Texas
"Just a short note to let you know that I had a reason to correspond with Robyn. She was wonderful in her help and was on the matter from the get go. Thank you so very much for such care."
Amparo in Grass Valley, CA
"So far I am extremely satisfied with the way my computer behaves after the installation of The Shield 2004. Instead of slowing it down, I feel that my computer responds more quickly. I have NEVER had this response with Norton. So far, It has been very friendly in everyway, to install and to maintain. I spent an entire week trying to download NORTON Internet Security 2004 and never got it to install properly or to run it at all. Norton's Customer Service is virtually useless, you have to spend 10's of hours reading through their online-assistance and they have extremely expensive "live" assistance - when and if available. Not to mention that I paid $100 (Canadian) for this Norton product. It looks like I'm going to be quite happy with The Shield 2004 Professional. It's the only easy thing I had going for me since last week when I tried to install Norton until I cleaned them out of my system never to return, thank God!"

"Sirs, Madams,
This is written concerning your customer support people, and the structure, in which, they work. I do understand that at this point you are saying, "oh geez, another complaint". While I do have comments, it will take a giant stretcher to make them complaints.
1. Having a real live human-being/person/dedicated employee, with whom I can identify, is not a small thing. Being 58 years of age, I am not as computer savvy as many younger people, my grandsons included. The human touch gave me confidence that I was being heard, that my situation was not hopeless.
2. Your entire management team must take more than a little, but not all, of the credit for investing in the human resources that make your company stand-out,among the many.
3. Robyn was nothing but warm in all responses, and it was a pleasure.
4. I bought your product on the basis of a customer that has been with you, basically from the beginning. He is a computer whiz, and I accepted his word that you were the best. So far, there is no reason to believe you are not.
5. For you, me, and John M., please send John a letter of thanks, as without him, surely I would have opted for a free service. He has a audio/video production company, and has 4 of your products running. His comment was "I have never had ANY trouble", so that seemed a good enough recommendation to me. His address is jmellor@****.
most happy and sincerely,"
Glen
