'Clean Slate' secures
your private information
The Shield Firewall 2.0's 'Clean Slate' function deletes
all of your private information from the hard drive
including credit card numbers, telephone numbers and
e-mail addresses. It also deletes all of your cookies,
histories, temporary Internet files, URL history, auto-match
list, temporary system files, recently viewed pages,
'run' command history and password records.
Advanced scheduling features
The Shield Firewall 2.0 users have the capability of
scheduling a specific time period in which the PC is
allowed to be online.
Event tracking records all activity
The Shield Firewall 2.0 records all network activities,
allowing you to see any events or actions that have
occurred on your computer.
Intruder Alerts
Only the applications to which you grant authorization
are able to connect to the Internet. If an unauthorized
connection is attempted, a pop-up message alerts you.
This prevents viruses such as "Trojan Horse" from sharing
your personal information online without your approval.
Pre-set security level
Users do not need to understand how the firewall works
in order to use it. Its pre-defined security levels
start protecting your system immediately upon installation.
One button disconnect
Allows you to stop or resume all network connections
to or from your system with one simple click.
Auto-disconnect
Disconnects your PC automatically if the system is idle
for a pre-set amount of time. Disconnecting from the
network ensures security since no one else will be able
to connect to your computer.

"So far I am extremely satisfied with the way my computer behaves after the installation of The Shield 2004. Instead of slowing it down, I feel that my computer responds more quickly. I have NEVER had this response with Norton. So far, It has been very friendly in everyway, to install and to maintain. I spent an entire week trying to download NORTON Internet Security 2004 and never got it to install properly or to run it at all. Norton's Customer Service is virtually useless, you have to spend 10's of hours reading through their online-assistance and they have extremely expensive "live" assistance - when and if available. Not to mention that I paid $100 (Canadian) for this Norton product. It looks like I'm going to be quite happy with The Shield 2004 Professional. It's the only easy thing I had going for me since last week when I tried to install Norton until I cleaned them out of my system never to return, thank God!"

This is written concerning your customer support people, and the structure, in which, they work. I do understand that at this point you are saying, "oh geez, another complaint". While I do have comments, it will take a giant stretcher to make them complaints.
1. Having a real live human-being/person/dedicated employee, with whom I can identify, is not a small thing. Being 58 years of age, I am not as computer savvy as many younger people, my grandsons included. The human touch gave me confidence that I was being heard, that my situation was not hopeless.
2. Your entire management team must take more than a little, but not all, of the credit for investing in the human resources that make your company stand-out,among the many.
3. Robyn was nothing but warm in all responses, and it was a pleasure.
4. I bought your product on the basis of a customer that has been with you, basically from the beginning. He is a computer whiz, and I accepted his word that you were the best. So far, there is no reason to believe you are not.
5. For you, me, and John M., please send John a letter of thanks, as without him, surely I would have opted for a free service. He has a audio/video production company, and has 4 of your products running. His comment was "I have never had ANY trouble", so that seemed a good enough recommendation to me.
